Developer Terms

These terms explain how developer-submitted HTML5 and WebGL games are reviewed, embedded, and listed on Browser Game Lab.

Manual review first

Submitting a game does not guarantee publication. Browser Game Lab reviews each submission for playability, safety, originality, and fit with the site before it appears publicly.

Your responsibilities

You must have the rights to submit the game, assets, music, names, and any third-party code included in your build. Your game must not contain malware, deceptive downloads, unauthorized tracking, payment flows, adult content, or infringing material.

Game hosting and embeds

External games are embedded in a sandboxed iframe. Zip submissions may be staged for review and, if approved, published from a public asset location. Browser Game Lab may reject, remove, or request changes to any game that creates security, policy, performance, or legal risk.

Leaderboard integration

Community games should use the documented postMessage SDK. Scores are accepted only after the parent page validates the game slug, origin, metric, mode, and score range.

Changes and removal

Browser Game Lab can update these terms, remove listings, or disable leaderboard submissions when needed to protect players, developers, or the platform.
